We had a wonderful stay at Annex Villa. Tricia, our host, was warm and friendly. the villa was clean, fresh, and well-maintained. It had all the facilities we needed, including a fully-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. Tricia went above and beyond by providing us with a big carton of fresh milk and bottles of water in the fridge. the location was easy to find, just off the A1, with convenient parking. the property had a charming garden where we could enjoy the warm sunshine. We were also impressed by the excellent shower, TV, and wifi. There were plenty of shops nearby, and we highly recommend the Indian restaurant next door. Tricia respected our privacy but was readily available if we needed anything. Annex Villa is a top choice for accommodation in the area. Cons: Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like 😊.

We booked this charming cottage near the airport for a visit to family in Durham. Tricia, the host, was fantastic and made us feel welcome. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had all the facilities we needed. The bed was comfy, the shower was excellent, and the wifi and TV worked great. We loved the homely decor with interesting paintings and embroidery. Tricia left some lovely touches like fresh milk, water, and a bottle of wine. The location was convenient, with shops and a fantastic Indian restaurant nearby. We'll definitely be returning for a longer stay to explore Northumberland.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at The Annex in Seaton Burn for a short getaway. Tricia, the host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The property was a gem, with a perfect location that offered everything I needed within a short distance. The nearby seaside was a highlight, especially St Mary's island/lighthouse. The parking was convenient and the view from the bedroom window was great. The cleanliness and comfort of the room were outstanding, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the tea, coffee, milk, and even a bottle of wine in the fridge. I can't wait to return to this beautiful place and see Tricia again!

During our recent stay at a cozy accommodation, we were greeted warmly by the hosts, who ensured that everything was pristine and well-maintained. The spacious bedroom boasted a wonderfully comfortable bed, and the bathroom was superb. The location was perfect for exploring nearby historic sites and enjoying the coastal areas, making it an ideal base for our adventures. Despite minor challenges with the lighting in the kitchen and the noise from planes above, our overall experience was fantastic. Plus, we appreciated the little extras like nuts, milk, and a welcoming bottle of wine. With its convenient amenities and friendly atmosphere, we highly recommend this delightful retreat. I would certainly recommend this place for a memorable stay.

The little extras like nuts, milk, and a welcoming bottle of wine were a lovely touch. The location is perfect, with supermarkets and takeaways just a short walk away. we really enjoyed the lovely courtyard garden where we could have our morning coffee. It was a peaceful and relaxing spot. Another advantage was the warm and friendly welcome we received from the host. Tricia was very welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home. the provision of snacks, like the bottle of milk, was a thoughtful touch that we appreciated.
The lack of clear directions to find the hotel was frustrating. We had to ask around and even ended up at a nearby pharmacy for help.

Fantastic bolthole, beautiful comfy house, full of character, tucked away but near shops and the airport. Tricia was fantastic, checked us in at 9pm and let us stay late on our last day. The cottage has all the facilities you could want and is so homely and comfortable. Lovely comfy bed too, and interesting paintings and embroidery decor. We booked this for a visit to family in Durham, just because it’s near the airport, but now we plan to return for a longer stay and explore Northumberland. One of the best we have ever stayed in. The host had put the heating on before our arrival quite high and it wasn’t a cold day. We didn’t sleep very well as the place was too hot.
